Workshop on Electrical Safety Measures

The department of electrical engineering recently organized a five days workshop on "Electrical Safety Measures" from 16th February 2009 to 20th February 2009 under the TEQIP project of World Bank. The training was provided to the workers operating mini and micro hydro power plants established by UREDA (Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Authority) in the state of Uttarakhand.  Lectures on Safety measures , maintenance and operation were delivered by experts called from various fields. The workshop on the whole was a great success.
